Description:
Chrome fused alumina (pink fused alumina, PA) is made by melting high-purity alumina with chromium oxide in an electric arc furnace, followed by crushing, screening and grading. It is pink/rose-red synthetic fused alumina. It has hardness similar to white fused alumina but higher toughness. It generates less heat during grinding, less risk of workpiece burn, excellent form retention and superior surface finish. Mainly used for precision profile grinding, high-end bonded abrasives, precision blasting and advanced refractories.
