Zirconia-Alumina Composite Ceramic Balls (ZTA, Zirconia Toughened Alumina) are high-performance composite ceramic grinding media. Made of alumina matrix doped with stabilized zirconia powder, formed by isostatic pressing and high-temperature sintering. Zirconia phase realizes phase transformation toughening, greatly improving fracture toughness and impact resistance. It combines the high hardness & thermal stability of alumina and the high toughness of zirconia. Medium density, low wear rate and high cost performance. Widely used in wet/dry grinding of hard minerals, coatings, inks and ceramic raw materials. Fine beads for sand mills; large balls for ball mills and vibratory grinding.
