Note:High refractive index glass microspheres are mainly made of silica and boron oxide as the basic glass structure.To raise the refractive index, high-refraction metal oxides are added in large amounts:
- Titanium Dioxide (TiO2)
- Barium Oxide (BaO)
- Zirconium Oxide (ZrO2)
The higher the content of these three components, the higher the refractive index.
However, excessive addition will reduce transparency and increase the difficulty of keeping perfect roundness.
