Note:High refractive index glass microspheres are mainly made of silica and boron oxide as the basic glass structure.
 
To raise the refractive index, high-refraction metal oxides are added in large amounts:

  • Barium Oxide ()
  • Zirconium Oxide ()
 

The higher the content of these three components, the higher the refractive index.

 

However, excessive addition will reduce transparency and increase the difficulty of keeping perfect roundness.
