Sintered alumina balls (high alumina ceramic balls) are solid spherical media made of high-purity alumina powder, formed by pressing and sintered at high temperature, with α‑alumina as the main crystal phase. They feature high hardness, excellent thermal stability, good acid & alkali resistance and low thermal expansion. They are widely used as catalyst support / tower packing in chemical industry, and also serve as grinding media for ball mills for coarse grinding of minerals, ceramic raw materials and refractory materials.
