Description:

Brown fused alumina is manufactured by smelting high-grade bauxite in an electric arc furnace at high temperature, followed by crushing, screening and classification. It is the most widely used conventional synthetic abrasive. It has high toughness, strong impact resistance and moderate self-sharpening property. Mainly used for blasting, rough grinding, cutting discs, bonded abrasives, refractory materials and investment casting.
